Aerial lift-boom lift

This course is intended for aerial lift and boom lift operators, with or without experience, who are required to inspect and operate all types of aerial lifts in a safe manner. The course complies with CAN/CSA B335-F15 et ASME B56-1-1993 standards, as well as the Regulation respecting occupational health and safety (ROHS) and articles 49 and 51 of the Act respecting occupational health and safety (A0HS) administered by the CSST.  Multitraining SST Inc. is accredited as a training body by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail for the application of the Act to promote the development and recognition of skills of the labor force.   • Theory – 4 hours
  • Practical assessment – approximately 30 minutes per participant

Assessment of the skills of the participants based on the following criteria:

  • Pre-start inspection
  • Inspection and adjustment of the harness and rigging rope
  • Establishing the safety perimeter
  • Safe handling of the aerial lift
  • Identification  of hazards specific to the company

Following the training session and subject to the successful passing of the theoretical and practical exams, participants will receive a certificate of training and a competency card attesting their skills to operate the aerial lift/boom lift they will be driving.
