Electric transpallet

This course is intended for operators, with or without experience, whose task is to inspect and safely operate electric transpallets. The course complies with CAN/CSA B335-04 and ASME B56-1-1993 standards, as well as the Regulation respecting occupational health and safety (ROHS) and articles 49 and 51 of the Act respecting occupational health and safety (A0HS) administered by the CSST. Multitraining SST Inc. is accredited as a training body by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail for the application of the Act to promote the development and recognition of skills of the labor force (registration number 0056901).

  • Practical assessment  –  10 to 20 minutes per participant

PRACTICAL CONTENT

Assessment of the workers skills in regards to:

  • Pre-start inspection
  • Start up and movement with and without a load
  • Safe handling of loads (respect the centre of gravity of the load, etc.)
  • Safe parking of the electric transpallet
  • Identify the hazardous areas specific to the workplace

 

Following the training session and subject to the successful passing of the theoretical and practical exams, participants will receive a certificate of training and a competency card attesting their skills to operate an electric transpallet.
