Telescopic mast lift

This course is intended for operators, with or without experience, who are required to inspect and operate telescopic mast lifts in a safe manner.  The course complies with CAN/CSA B335-F15 et ASME B56-1-1993 standards as well as the Regulation respecting occupational health and safety (ROHS) and articles 49 and 51 of the Act respecting occupational health and safety (A0HS) administered by the CSST. Multitraining SST Inc. is accredited as a training body by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail for the application of the Act to promote the development and recognition of skills of the labor force.   • Theory – 4 hour
  • Practical assessment – approximately 30 minutes to one hour per participant

Assessment of the skills of the participants based on the following criteria:

  • Pre-start inspection
  • Understanding of hydraulic levers, stabilizing legs and controls in the cab
  • Establishing the safety perimeter
  • Driving the telescopic mast forklift
  • Safe handling of the telescopic mast fork
  • Identification of hazards specific to the company
  • Grasping of the load and release of the forks
  • Parking

Following the training session and subject to the successful passing of the theoretical and practical exams, participants will receive a certificate of training and a competency card attesting their skills to operate the telescopic mast lift they will be driving.
